About Beenish Tariq, RNTP
Professional Role & Scope
I am a UK-registered Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (RNTP, mBANT, rCNHC) specialising in gut and digestive dysfunction.
My work focuses on individuals with persistent, overlapping, or recurrent symptoms particularly where digestive health appears to be a central driver affecting other systems such as skin, energy, hormones, immunity, or stress resilience.
I work exclusively within the scope of functional nutritional therapy, using structured assessment, clinical reasoning, and personalised nutrition guidance. I do not diagnose medical disease or replace GP or consultant care.

Clinical Focus
My clinical focus is gut and digestive health, particularly where symptoms:
- persist despite dietary changes or supplements
- fluctuate, relapse, or migrate across systems
- have not been explained by standard testing
- are influenced by stress, hormones, or immune patterns
Rather than treating symptoms in isolation, I assess how digestive function, microbial balance, inflammatory load, and nervous system patterns may be interacting.
How I Work
My work is grounded in evidence-informed nutritional science, interpreted through clinical context rather than applied as isolated recommendations. I stay current with developments in nutritional research, functional medicine frameworks, and professional clinical guidance, and apply evidence selectively based on relevance, individual presentation, and real-world tolerance. Evidence informs decisions; it does not replace clinical reasoning.
That means my work centres on:
- identifying patterns rather than labels
- prioritising systems rather than stacking protocols
- sequencing interventions logically rather than doing everything at once
All recommendations are personalised and adjusted over time based on response. There are no templates, generic plans, or one-size-fits-all approaches.
My work does not include:
- medical diagnosis
- emergency or acute care
- medication changes
- guaranteed outcomes or timelines
I work alongside appropriate medical oversight where required and refer on when a case is outside my scope.
